The Mentorship Program 

Photographers who aspire to transcend their present level are invited to consider joining The Mentorship Program. Participants of The Membership Program will be entitled to once a month one-on-one meetings with Minny Lee.* These coaching sessions (in person or Skype) will be of approximately 2 hours in length and cover such topics as:  

- assessment of your long term photography projects

- building up your portfolio and presenting it in the most professional way possible

- advice on photobook projects 

- discussion of marketing strategies, portfolio reviews, and other related events

- advice/opinions on all equipment from cameras to paper 

Each meeting will focus on the individual participant’s photography project and immediate needs. Participants of The Mentorship Program will also be privy to once a month access to the facilities at Minny Lee Fine Art, which includes perusal of the photobook library, a tabloid size Ricoh laser printer, and Epson inkjet printers. Photographers must provide their own paper and pay for the ink usage, separately as pre-notified and at the reasonable published rates. 

Program Options: 

1) Three Months Program: $750

This program offers three one-on-one sessions with Minny Lee. 

2) Six Months Program: $1500  

This program offers six one-on-one sessions with Minny Lee. 

3) Nine Months Program: $2,250

This program offers nine one-on-one sessions with Minny Lee. 

4) Twelve Months Program: $3,000 

This program offers twelve one-on-one sessions with Minny Lee.

* About Minny Lee 

Minny Lee is a Honolulu-based artist whose work combines images and text. Lee obtained a Master of Arts in Art History from City College of New York and a Master of Fine Arts in Advanced Photographic Studies from ICP-Bard in New York City. She was awarded a fellowship from the Reflexions Masterclass in Europe and participated as an artist-in-residence at Halsnøy Kloster and the Vermont Studio Center. Her work has been exhibited at Datz Museum of Art, The Center for Fine Art Photography, Ise Cultural Foundation Gallery, Les Rencontres d’Arles, among other venues. Lee’s limited edition artist’s books, Encounters and Million Years, are in the collection of the International Center of Photography Library, New York Public Library, Special Collections at the University of Arizona, Special Collections at Stanford University, and the Sloane Art Library at the University of North Carolina.
